Forklift Operator

Position Overview

We are seeking a responsible and safety-minded Forklift Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize goods within a warehouse or distribution environment while maintaining compliance with all safety and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate counterbalance, reach, or walkie forklifts as required.

  • Load, unload, and stack materials or finished goods in designated areas.

  • Verify product codes, quantities, and conditions during material movement.

  • Conduct pre-operation inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.

  • Follow all warehouse safety policies and OSHA/CSA standards.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.

  • Assist with inventory counts and cycle checks when required.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, warehouse associates, and shipping teams.

Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification (Counterbalance, Reach, or Walkie).

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in warehouse or logistics environment.

  • Knowledge of safe lifting practices, load limits, and hazard awareness.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/verbal instructions.

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in fast-paced environments.

  • Good attendance and teamwork record.

Safety Expectations

  • Always wear required PPE (safety shoes, vest, hard hat if required).

  • Never exceed forklift capacity limits or operate unsafely.

  • Perform daily equipment safety checks before each shift.

  • Report hazards, near misses, and incidents to the supervisor immediately.

  • Follow lock-out/tag-out and pedestrian safety protocols.

Shift & Compensation

  • Full-time or part-time roles available (Day, Afternoon, or Night Shifts).

  • Competitive hourly pay based on experience and certification.

  • Overtime and safety bonuses may apply.

Must Have

  • Bachelor Degree or Higher
  • Passion for software products
  • Perfect written English
  • Highly creative and autonomous
  • Valid work permit for Belgium

  • Strong analytical skills
